Open Position – Marketing Assistant

Job Type: Full-time or Contract Full Time

Location: Remote (Must be located in USA or Canada)

Job Description: We are a growing marketing agency searching for a creative Marketing Assistant to join our team. The Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of our marketing campaigns, including email campaigns, citation/review management, database management, project management of content, and campaign reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Email Marketing: Create and implement email marketing campaigns for our clients. This includes working with the account manager and designer to design emails, build email lists, and analyze email campaign performance.
  • Citations and Reviews: Manage our clients’ citations and reviews program. This includes managing review campaigns with clients, monitoring and responding to reviews on various platforms, such as Google My Business, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, and reporting.
  • Database Management: Responsible for managing and maintaining email databases, including updating contact information, segmenting lists, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Project Management of Content: Will assist Marcom managers in creating content briefs, assigning writers, ensuring quality control, and distributing content for our clients. This includes working with our writers and designers, locating images, managing deadlines, and ensuring all content is high-quality and on-brand.
  • Reporting: Creating marketing reports for our client programs. This includes assembling reports from various systems and individuals, formatting reports and slide decks, potentially identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Other duties as assigned: As a flexible individual, you may be asked to work on such projects as market research, testing new applications, social media support, and more.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, specifically in email marketing, citations/reviews, database management, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation tools such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, GoHighLevel, and HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of citation management tools such as Yext, Moz Local, Review Inc, or Bright Local. Training will be provided.
  • Experience with database management, including experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and Hubspot. Strong Excel skills recommended
  • Strong project management skills and comfortable with tracking and meeting deadlines. Experience with project management tools such as Asana, TeamWork, Basecamp, and.
  • An analytical thinker with experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
